![]() ![]() One more thing I'd like to add is that, when I turn the machine on, and start something immediately, the CPU and GPU work as expected and on full power, but as soon as I plug the machine in and unplug it, everything throttles back down. The performance on battery power remained poor. Note that your CPU is a fair bit better than his, but I suspect you should get roughly the same score (1150), or maybe a little better. hi guys so i have the GTX 1080ti strix edition, i ran a benchmark on heaven 4. You can change to these settings and run again and compare the scores. I tried changing every possible setting (NVIDIA Control Panel, Windows power management etc) but none of then helped in the regard. But this was set with 'Ultra' preset and then the resolution brought down to 1080p for the run. So, I have my card atm at +500 Memory (Total: 4500Mhz) and +100 Core (Total: 2100Mhz). So I decided to just do simple OCs in the precision X1 software and used Furmark/Unigine Heven as testing for stability. But when on Battery power, it throttles at around 3.3-3.5 GHZ. When i ran userbenchmark it rated my GPU 'Under performance'. Unigine Heaven 4.0 Resolution: 1920 x 1080 - Mode: Fullscreen - Renderer: OpenGL. When plugged in, it stays at 4 GHZ mark when under full load. When using UNIGINE Heaven Benchmark, I get 40-45 FPS on extreme setting when plugged in but they drop to a staggering 9-10 FPS when on battery power. I understand that when on battery, the system limits the GPU TDP so as to enhance battery life, but in my case, the games become almost un-playable. Even in games like GTAV, i get a mere 15-20 FPS (i.e. However, when I try to run games on battery power, the FPS drop like hell. I'm using my HP omen EN0001AX for the past month or so, and everything seems great. Low Unigine Heaven Benchmark Score - posted in Internal Hardware: Ive reinstalled drivers, done system updates, services packs, other things I cant remember right now. Business PCs, Workstations and Point of Sale Systems.Printer Wireless, Networking & Internet. But if your min fps go down constantly you should look into a monitoring software to check if the card throttles down during the run. So running 3 runs to even out the results is a good idea. Often they will count the first frames during load as very low etc. DesignJet, Large Format Printers & Digital Press While minimum fps are generally very important, i dont trust many benchmarks.Printing Errors or Lights & Stuck Print Jobs.Notebook Hardware and Upgrade Questions. ![]()
